Lean TECHniques is bringing GitHub Dev Days to Central Iowa. On October 20, developers are invited to the Lean TECHniques office for a two-hour, hands-on workshop built around GitHub Copilot.
GitHub Dev Days is a global series of in-person, community-led events running through October. Each one gives local developers a chance to spend focused time with Copilot alongside people from their own tech community. We’re excited to add Iowa to the map.
Alec Harrison, a Staff Engineer and Microsoft MVP, will lead the workshop. You’ll work through real development workflows in the Copilot app and the CLI, and Alec will be there to answer questions as they come up.
Any developer is welcome, regardless of how much you’ve used Copilot.
A quick note on AI credits
The exercises use AI credits. You can complete them on Copilot Free, but they’ll take a sizable share of your allotment. If you’re on the free tier, conserve credits ahead of the event.
