Tee Up For Tech at the 2023 Tech Journey Open!

Lean TECHniques is excited to host the third annual Tech Journey Open — a golf outing to raise money and provide scholarships to students participating in Tech Journey’s Tech Camp program.

The 2023 Tech Journey Open will take place on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023 at Beaver Creek Golf Course with a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start.

Over the last two years, the Tech Journey Open outings have provided scholarships to 31 students and raised more than $40,000 to benefit Tech Journey.

Tech Journey is a Des Moines-based nonprofit committed to inspiring and supporting underrepresented youth as they learn about the possibilities within technology. Tech Camp is Tech Journey’s flagship offering — an immersive summer program focused on educating, inspiring and connecting individuals from traditionally underrepresented groups in the tech space with local professionals.

Tech Journey plays a critical role in creating a pipeline of passionate young people who will, no doubt, be able to make a significant impact within our companies and communities. Registration is $150 per individual or $600 for a four-person team. In addition to playing 18 holes of golf, lunch and two drink tickets are included plus a hole-in-one prize and a variety of raffle prizes. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the event.
